The Alumni Association is always looking for alumni who would like to become more involved with Wilkes! Whether you're interested in planning events, working with students or developing programs that benefit our alumni community, there's something for you. Read more about our committees below.

Development: Cindy Charnetski '97
The Development Committee is focused on building a realistic awareness of the financial needs of Wilkes and may assist the Advancement Office with solicitations, and on increasing the participation rate and level of giving.
Executive: Comprised of officers and committee chairs, the committee sets the agenda for the Alumni Board and monitors progress throughout the organization.
Graduate Alumni: The focus of the committee is to evaluate the current state of graduate alumni programming and communication, and make recommendations for the future.
Homecoming: Rosemary LaFratte ’93, ’97
This committee assists Alumni Relations in developing and planning all aspects of the annual Homecoming; work with Reunion anniversary classes; work to increase the number of alumni involved and support the class/affinity agenda.
Mentoring & Career Preparation: Kathy Heltzel ’82, MBA '85
This group supports alumni/student mentoring, alumni/ alumni mentoring and career preparation initiatives as identified.
Nominating (by invitation of the Alumni Association President): Bill Miller ’81
This committee is charged with consideration of demographic information in order to assure a Board representative of the constituency and will identify and recruit seven (7) or more candidates for the Board annually as well as prepare a slate of officers and members. The committee is also responsible for reviewing the Constitution and By-Laws on a regular basis.
