Athletics alumni, parents and friends are invited to two upcoming events - the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on January 25 and the second annual Baseball Diamond Dinner on February 8.  Keep an eye on your inbox - more information about these celebrations will be available in the coming weeks. 

Soccer Teams Recognized for Academic Accomplishments 
Both the men's and women's soccer teams were recognized on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's Team Academic.  The men's team earned a spot for the seventh straight year and the women's team made the list for the ninth consecutive year... more

Cross Country
The Wilkes University men's and women's cross country teams concluded their respective 2013 seasons running at the NCAA Mideast Regional.  The men finished 40th of 54 teams in the 8k race and the Lady Colonels claimed 40th out of 52 teams in the 6k meet... more

Field Hockey

Four Lady Colonels were selected to the field hockey All-Freedom Conference squads. Of the four Wilkes selections, one was named to the first team, two to the second team and one honorable mention... more

Seven football standouts were named to the All-Middle Atlantic Conference football teams. Wilkes finished the season with a 4-6 overall mark going 3-6 in MAC play including wins over FDU-Florham, Misericordia, and Stevenson... more

Men's Soccer
Junior forward Eric McAnena of Horsham, PA, was selected to the 2nd team All-Freedom squad. Heading into next season McAnena will enter his senior year with 42 points scored (17 goals and eight assists)... more

Women's Soccer
Five Lady Colonels were selected to the women's soccer All-Freedom Conference squads and freshman Samantha Hockley of Middletown, PA, was named Freedom Rookie of the Year.  Of the four Wilkes selections, one was named to the first team, two to the second team and one honorable mention... more

Senior standout Casey Bohan of Harding, PA, earned her second consecutive First Team All-Freedom Conference honor while freshman libero Marissa Mallory of Pine Bush, NY, was tabbed an honorable mention selection... more

Men's Basketball
The Colonels welcome the 2013-14 season with a fresh mindset and a plethora of returning experience and talent that can lead them to success in the highly competitive Freedom Conference.  With eight players back who saw significant playing time last season, Wilkes is poised to make a complete turnaround... more

Under third-year head coach Chris Heery, the Lady Colonels will look to build off of an 11-14 overall record during the 2012-2013 that saw the Lady Colonels pick up two Freedom Conference wins... more
